Every single year year, at around this time, I start to get really excited for the taste of pumpkin, the feel of thick knit sweaters, and the crunch of leaves underneath my feet. (If you can’t tell Fall is DEFINITELY my favorite season.
Hey guys! What’s up with y’all? For me these past few weeks have been Crazy with a capital C. As I mentioned a few posts ago, my family and I recently moved from Lawrence, Kansas, to Texas, which was a huge transition for just everyone involved.
Although there was a lot of negative that came from moving to Texas, there was also a TON of positives, including the AMAZING FOOD. I absolutely LOVE spicy food, and Texas is the Spicy Food Kingdom, so I’ve been living the life down here. But don’t feel left out, I’m about to share with you one of my favorite family recipes: Easy, Hot, and Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers. Let’s get to it!
Okay, so lets be honest here. My FAVORITE part of wintertime, is drinking hot chocolate. I love hot chocolate so much. And also hot cocoa. Let’s not forget that they are different things. How? You might ask… well hot chocolate is made with milk, and hot cocoa is made with water. It actually kind of makes sense. Either way my sister Debbie and I made this recipe for the YUMMIEST HOT CHOCOLATE EVER!!!! (Like my use of exclamation points?)
What You Need:
2 Cups of Chocolate Chips
4 Cups of Milk
1 Can of Whipped Cream
Add chocolate chips and milk to a pan over medium heat, stirring constantly.
As soon as all the chocolate has melted, remove from the heat, and pour into mugs, then top off with whipped cream.
Ta da! It was so easy and simple!
