Hello everyone! Whats new with you? I’ve been so excited for this post, for a while now! I’m so glad you guys are FINALLY getting to read it! As I wrote in one of my recent posts, I recently moved from Kansas to Texas, which meant that I had to say goodbye to a lot of my friends. So here’s the whys, the hows, and the what’s of letter writing!
I’m just gonna be honest here: the past few months have been tough for me. Like really tough. Like “I-feel-like-my-whole-life-is-falling-apart” tough. And I know you’re probably asking yourself the great big gigantic question of “WHY?”. Well don’t worry because the entire reason of this post is to explain the “WHY’s” and the “HOW’s”. Hopefully it will help you all as well, because that’s the entire mission of this blog: to help you all be the best you can! Don’t worry because I’m growing as well, and here is a place where we only accept honesty. Ready to learn how to say “Goodbye” easily?
Hello and Happy Friday! I am actually currently on vacation, and this post was scheduled back at the beginning of May so I can relax and be lazy. But don’t worry, it was written with today in mind! I have gone through several stages in my life where I hated myself and I thought that I didn’t deserve to even be on this Earth and it felt like I had this weight on my soul crushing me, and there was no way for me escape. I’m just going to be honest with you, I might have gone back to those places if it weren’t for these cards. With these cards I have been reminded how much my friends, family, and God love me, and I want each of you to feel the same way, which is why I’m sharing it with you.
Here’s What You Need:
Large Index Cards (Enough so everyone can have one)
Sharpies, pens, or markers in various colors (Enough so everyone can have one)
Hard Surfaces for Everyone to Write On
Here’s How You Do It:
- Have everyone sit in the circle, and pass out the index cards and pens/markers making sure that everyone has one. Have everyone in the circle write their names down in the middle of their card, like mine.
- Now, have everyone pass their card to the person on their left. That person now has to write something nice or a characteristic of God that they see in that person. For example some things people wrote on mine were “Warrior” “Princess” and “Kind”. You can also write down a verse or an encouragement for that person.
- At the end, everyone gets their card back, and they can keep it in their Bible or their Bible Notebook so that they’re reminded of those things every day and encouraged! This is a great end of the year activity, and when I did it it was with my Youth Group while we were on our Spring Retreat. It is so much fun, and I love my card.
What are some things you do when you’re feeling down? Did you try this activity? If so how did it go? Let me know in the comments below!
Love you all,
Hey everybody! Happy Friday! As you can tell, Fridays make me a lot happier than Mondays, and for good reason too! Fridays mean that the weekend is almost here and I am almost done studying and taking tests and solving extremely long math problems that have no actual use in real life.
Hey guys, it’s Noel here (Finally). I know that between me taking an extra day off of blogging every week, and guest posts you haven’t really seen a lot of me, and I’m about to explain why. First though I would like to let you know that I am only two sentences in and this post is already hard for me to write, but as a blogger and a person I want to be open about my struggles in life, and I want you guys to feel like I can relate to you in the way that I actually exist and I actually struggle with life as much as you do.
Hey guys! It’s Noel here! Today we’re getting an AMAZING guest post about Spring and how we can get inspired by nature written by the amazing, beautiful, talented author Kym! She is the blogger behind Lavenwild!
Hey guys! It’s Noel! Today’s post is going to be a bit different! I’m going to be sharing a post by my friend Kaytlyn.
Kaytlyn is such an inspiration to me, and others around her! Her blog is simply amazing, and I strongly suggest that you check her out! Some of her ideas include making a card, crafting something for them, and helping them out around the house! I’m so excited to share this post with you and I hope you check it out! You can see it HERE.
I think love can be a beautiful thing. It happens everyday, yet when it happens to us we treat it like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us, and the truth is, it is. I don’t know about you, but I know what it’s like to be totally head over heels for someone, and I know what it’s like to be rejected for someone else. I’m not judging anyone for leaving me. If you didn’t feel the same way, then there’s no reason why you should be forced into a relationship because you feel bad for me. I was hurt, and I did cry, but I picked myself up again.
