Did you know that seven days after New Year’s Eve is when the most suicides are committed? The reason why is because it is when they realize that they have “failed” at their New Year’s resolutions and feel like there’s nothing to live for.
What I think one of the problems with this is, is the fact that we try to implement so many new things at once. It’s hard to keep track of the 12 New Year’s resolutions that you came up with all at once. This is why I think that the monthly new year’s plan is a good call. In this way, you add in one good thing every month, as opposed to adding them all in at once at the beginning of the year. That way you have a little bit of time to adjust to your new habits.
Now, depending on what your New Year’s resolutions are, you might not exactly follow my “plan” but if you feel like some of these ideas are things that you want to incorporate into your plan, then feel free to do it…my ideas in this post are free.
As you’ve probably already gathered, I will be posting as my progress progresses….I don’t know if that was grammatically correct but I’m gonna roll with it. I really want to encourage you guys as you go on a journey to a better you and a better lifestyle.
After all, that is what my blog is truly about. I’ve been going through a stage lately where it’s hard for me to appreciate the small things in life. Sometimes, at least for me, it’s good to slow down for one night, and appreciate all the friends and family and laughter around you.
Happy New Year,
P.S. Don’t forget to write down some of YOUR New Year’s resolutions below!!!
